We have a very unique product and with that a niche in the market place. Our books are environmentally friendly handmade and recycled from originally published books. They do hold the “WOW” factor, and we have had many ecstatic customers .
We hardly ever pay for the old books we convert (occasionally a small donation) and literally save them from landfill. We source and use reclaimed paper , all in all our lovely converted books actually cost us very little to create and sell at a decent price.
Thousands of discarded books both old and new find their way into landfill every day - We feel that Franchising our business could save a great many of these wonderful books, as well as providing a lucrative and meaningful pursuit for like minded individuals.

Rebound Books started
With an idea and a transit load of very old and beautiful books that were destined for landfill. Our first books were very basic compared to today’s creations but they sold as the saying goes “ Like hot cakes” We have never looked back and when we launched our website , it complemented our direct sales perfectly and made Rebound Books a viable and sustainable business.

We remove the spines from the original book and using a quality reclaimed paper, intersperse (or interleaf as we like to say) blank pages with selected pages from the original book.
These books are then wire bound (using the best wire binding available) into our very unique - Journals, Notebooks, Sketch books & Diaries. We always use the original covers.
Our wonderfully unique books certainly make fantastic gifts – with our growing selection there is almost certainly something for everyone.
All the books featured in our shop were destined for landfill, donated from customers or feeling miserable in a charity shop! Once made into a wire bound notebook or journal each book has so much more value and in most cases are transformed into treasured items.” |

Our Franchise Areas
We would like you to define your own area and register this with us. Areas will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. You may change your area at any time, to any other available - and for any reason, e.g. moving house.
You will need to be active in your registered area.
We will advertise your direct sales locations on Rebound Books.co.uk and forwarding all general enquiries about that area to you.
You will have first refusal on any County shows or festivals within your area,
Your franchise allows you to sell your Rebound Books in any open area within the country. (open area: An area that has not been registered. )
You may grow and expand your area as you wish provided you register these changes.

Money matters
The price of our Franchise has a few variations depending on your choice of machinery . You would need to use a small guillotine and binding machine. We use hand operated in both cases but also offer an electric version of both machines

There is also the possibility of environmental grants been used towards purchasing our franchise. We are committed to helping the right people join us
There are no ongoing fees to pay, Once you have bought and paid for the Franchise it is yours.
Website details and charges.
As a franchisee you will have full access to our online ecommerce store ( Rebound Books.co.uk) our store is advertised one every Rebound Book that is sold. The books in our store have not yet been converted into Rebound Books allowing customers to choose a range of additional features when ordering – Like: a printed diary , lined paper, elastic closures etc . I would like to suggest that you visit our site and have a look for yourself.
On an average you will receive 30% more for books sold online There is however a 25% admin charge levied on every book you sell. This covers our website’s upkeep , hosting, advertising , payment gateway charges etc. Please Note: this is the only additional cost you will incur.
We will supply you with a full list of our suppliers where you can order your supplies directly ( in many cases at reduced prices) |
